Basketball Season, Pre-Season Starts on October 5th, All Players Should have a Disability Insurance Policy in Place Now

Whether fans know it or not, basketball camps and training camps are open across the nation. NBA players and coaches are in college towns and on campuses all across the country. Suddenly spotting several men towering over 6’8″ tall, in a restaurant or lobby, could be the unannounced appearance of your favorite NBA stars.
The clinics offered by the NBA across the country are wrapping up this week. Other NBA teams like the Washington Wizards are wrapping up training camps at George Mason University in preparation for the preseason. Their first game is against the Brooklyn Nets (who are training at Duke University) at the Verizon Center on October 8, 2013, as reported by WizofAwes.com.
“Since it’s a glorified exhibition game, I wouldn’t expect the veterans to get much playing time, but it’ll still be interesting seeing Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett perform in a Nets uniform. Of course, the main attraction will likely still be the battle of the point guards,” says Ben Mehic, reporting on the Wizards pre-season. With the NBA pre-season officially starting on October 5, 2013, players are charged up and excited to compete. Maxwell Ogden, feature columnist at BleacherReport.com weighed in on some rising stars in the pre-season. He mentions Brian Roberts of the New Orleans Pelicans and his average of 17.0 minutes per game last season and admits that it is unlikely for there to be an identical story matching Roberts’.
There are three rookies Ogden thinks everyone should keep an eye on:
- Shooting Guard Vander Blue of the Philadelphia 76ers
- Point Guard Isaac Canaan of the Houston Rockets
- Power Forward, Erik Murphy of the Chicago Bulls
